The track dropped on August 18 at 6 p.m. KST, accompanied by an animated visualizer, and marks Vince’s first new music in nearly 21 months since his debut EP The Drive in November 2023. Within hours, “CHA CHA CHA” debuted at No. 9 on Melon’s HOT 100, Korea’s largest streaming chart. Overseas, it soared to No. 6 on QQ Music’s overall music video chart—China’s top platform—and to No. 4 on its Korea chart, underscoring Vince’s growing international reach.
Anticipation had been high even before the release, thanks to Vince’s collaboration with G-Dragon, one of K-pop’s most influential icons.
