[OSENWORLD] KATSEYE, the global girl group jointly launched by HYBE and Geffen Records, is proving its staying power. Less than a month after falling off the Hot 100, the group has re-entered with a new career high.
According to Billboard’s latest rankings dated August 23 (local time), KATSEYE’s track Gabriela returned to the Hot 100 at No. 76, marking the group’s highest position to date. The song had previously charted at No. 94 (July 5), No. 87 (July 12), and No. 95 (July 19).
KATSEYE’s momentum has also been building on the global charts. Gabriela climbed to No. 24 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 21 on the Global Excl. U.S. — jumps of 20 and 12 spots from the previous week, respectively. Meanwhile, their other hit Gnarly maintained its 15-week streak on the charts, landing at No. 80 on the Global 200 and No. 83 on the Global Excl. U.S.
The group’s second EP Beautiful Chaos, which includes both tracks, also saw a resurgence. The record rose 19 spots to No. 50 on the Billboard 200, marking its seventh consecutive week on the chart. It also ranked No. 17 on Top Album Sales and No. 15 on Top Current Album Sales, underscoring its consistent demand.
The renewed success of Gabriela was sparked by a surprise remix released on August 8 and high-profile festival performances. KATSEYE electrified audiences at Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2025 with an explosive set highlighted by a viral dance break during Gabriela. Footage of their shows quickly spread across social media, reigniting buzz for the track.
On Spotify, Gabriela’s daily streams jumped from 2.22 million on the day of Lollapalooza to 2.68 million in recent days, reflecting a nearly 20% increase. The remix, featuring rising Latin music star Young Miko, also drew attention for bringing a fresh twist to the original.
KATSEYE will meet their Korean fans for the first time in about three months with a fan signing event in Seoul on August 22.
