[OSENWORLD] Rising K-pop group POW is seeing its popularity spread beyond Korea, with strong traction across global music charts.
On August 19, POW’s third album title track Being Tender entered the YouTube Music daily chart in Canada, adding to the group’s recent international milestones. Earlier this month, the track broke into the TikTok music chart, while also landing on Spotify’s Viral Top 100 in Taiwan and Thailand.
What makes the achievement stand out is the timing: POW wrapped up official promotions nearly a month ago, yet the album continues to gain momentum overseas. Industry watchers point to the album’s heartfelt message of warmth and empathy as a reason why it resonates across borders. Their ongoing Being Tender Live project has also been attracting attention from fans around the world.
In a show of gratitude, POW donated proceeds from their Being Tender Live events—held on August 13 to celebrate the release of their third album—to the international relief and development NGO World Vision, further highlighting the group’s commitment to social impact.
Grid Entertainment, the band’s agency, commented, “Thanks to the steady love and support from fans, POW has continued to appear on global charts. With a September comeback already confirmed, the group is preparing new songs that will showcase fresh challenges and reveal new sides of their artistry.”
POW (members Yorch, Hyunbin, Jungbin, Dongyeon, and Hong) will also meet fans in Seoul through their upcoming Asia tour POW TOUR: POWERFUL YOUTH in SEOUL, scheduled for September 27–28 at the Myeonghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
