[OSENWORLD] K-pop boy group ARrC is making a bold return with a sound all their own—introducing what they call “Oriental Pop,” a genre blending East Asian musical sensibilities with contemporary K-pop.
On July 16, ARrC held a media showcase at SBS Prism Tower in Seoul’s Mapo District to celebrate the release of their third mini album. The group—consisting of members Andy, Choi Han, Doha, Hyunmin, Jibeen, Kien, and Rioto—performed songs from the new project and spoke about its meaning.
Leader Hyunmin expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s an honor to greet everyone again with our third mini album HOPE. We’re so happy to finally share this with our fans who’ve waited patiently. We’ll continue to grow and work harder.”
Doha added, “We’re thrilled to be back with new music. Through this promotion, we’ll do our best to establish ourselves as representatives of the 5th generation of K-pop and become icons for Gen Z around the world.”
HOPE captures the emotional resilience of youth—highlighting the idea that even in the midst of an imperfect and repetitive reality, hope can bloom. The title track “awesome” is a hype-chant anthem that fuses early 2000s hip-hop vibes with a modern twist. It reflects ARrC’s unique musical identity and their ability to turn everyday struggles into uplifting, high-energy music.

With HOPE, ARrC aims not only to inspire fans but also to solidify their place on the global K-pop stage with a message of strength, connection, and optimism.
